From the 1930s onwards, the use of small diesel locomotives - “Switcher” - for shunting duties at stations and in industrial plants required appropriate handling equipment. This realistic model of a fuelling station, modernised in the 1960s with a fuel tank, sheltered column pump, oil trolley and lubricant store, is the perfect partner for our shed for small locomotives (No. 11 429).
